October 7, 2011- The little 'ol internet radio station that could is buzzing after being awarded its firs Radio Mercury Award. We grabbed the student category for Best PSA and a cool $2500 in prize money. That sure comes in handy after the budget...um, challenges we've been facing. Got to fly up to NYC and rub shoulders with the people behind 'The Most Interesting Man in The World' campaign, as well as the creators of 'Mayhem' for Allstate. Wow. Talk about the best semester EVER. First the Radio Mercury, and now a CBI Award. Dontae Robison's 'Don't Sext' PSA won the radio category at College Broadcasters, Inc's fall convention in Orlando. That's why he's walking a little taller today, with his chest all poofed out and stuff. Below, you can relive what is now a winning spot.
